Helmets and Clothing
Helmets for "Stock","Street Touring", and "Street Prepared" must meet the Snell M95 (or later) standard, AND MUST HAVE THE SNELL CERTIFICATE AFFIXED, helmets missing the Snell certificate will not pass tech inspection. SA rated helmets are highly recommended.
Drivers of Solo II classed "Stock", "Street Touring", and "Street Prepared" vehicles are required to wear at minimum long sleeve cotton shirts, and pants. Here is an example of an appropriately dressed "Street Prepared" driver: Note that the gloves and neck brace are optional, but recommended equipment.

Drivers of Solo II classed "Prepared", "Modified" and "Street Modified" vehicles are required to wear Fire Resistant material covering the entire body as specified by the Club Racing GCR. This is a summary from the Club Racing GCR section 17.23, please reference the GCR for complete rules.
- A fire suit with SFI certification 3-2a/5 (or higher)- OR a fire suit with SFI certification 3-2a/1 worn with approved fire proof underwear
- Gloves made of leather and/or an approved fire proof material
- Socks made of accepted fireproof material
- Shoes with uppers of leather or other non flamable material.
- Snell SA95 (or newer) Rated helmet
