Additional Notes

Sound Limits: vehicles must have a muffler. Sound measurements will be taken 50 feet from the track surface using the dBa scale. Vehicles that register over 103 dBa will be black flagged and removed from the course. Sound restrictions are in effect at all tracks used for Club Trials this year.

Prepared and Modified Classes: must have the appropriate roll cage. The car must also have a fire bottle or fire system. Fuel cells are required and you must meet the GCR requirements. Make sure your belts and window net have a current (within 3 years) SFI tag.

The Driver must have full Road Racing safety gear including the SA helmet, full up-to-date fire suit, balaclava if facial hair, socks, and shoes as is all spelled out in the Club Racing GCR.

SM, and SM2 are considered MODIFIED classes hence require all the safety gear for the car and driver.

These are fast classes with fast cars on real road race tracks so we treat safety very seriously!!!!!!
